Danny Tanner is widowed with 3 young girls (DJ, Stephanie, & Michelle). His mother had been living with the family but is leaving so Danny's brother in law (Jesse) and best friend (Joey) move in to help him raise his girls. Everybody has adjustment issues with the new living arrangements especially DJ who tries to divide her room space with Stephanie. Jesse and Joey experience their first diaper change with Michelle and what is is like to take care of little girls. The episode ends with DJ finally telling her dad how unfair it is for all the changes happening in her life and they hug it out after reaching an understanding.
