Note: I applied this polish on September 3rd and the photos were taken on the 6th.
I was looking for a pretty green to paint my nails in honor of my good friend Jane's birthday. I sadly do not live by her to celebrate her birthday with her but I wanted to paint my nails her favorite color so I could be with her in spirit. The polish I used was actually sent to me by her so it all tied together.
This was the first Orly polish that I have ever tried. I have to say, I am a fan. The brush size is pretty good and application was very easy. I did end up only putting one coat on when I should have done two. Sometimes darker polishes trick me in this way and I don't notice until I put on a top coat. Oopsie.
The polish did wear out quicker than usual since I did only one coat. However that was my fault. The application was slight uneven but again, my fault for being in a hurry. The color itself is GORG though!! It is a perfect dark green. It is really dark but it isn't dark enough even in the shade that you mistake it for black. It is also very glossy and sleek looking.
Overall, I am giving this mani a 4 out of 6 stars. I will have to try it again with a proper two coats to see if the color is darker/polish lasts longer.
