LET'S TALK WITH ALL ABOUT YOU AND LUXE LASH (SINFUL COLORS/CHINA GLAZE)

Note: I applied this polish on May 24th and took the photos on the 26th.

My baby sister was finally graduating (YAY) and I wanted to do some something cute for her graduation. Her school colors are purple and gold. I recently found a YouTube vlogger that is really into the gradients and I saw her do one with glitter. A light bulb went off to try it. I got it to sort of work, haha!

For the base color, I went with Let's Talk (Sinful Colors). I did just one coat since it gave me (mostly) full coverage.

For the gradient, I decided to do All About You (Sinful Colors) and Luxe and Lash (China Glaze). This is where I went wrong. All About You is pretty light so you couldn't really see it unless you looked in the light. I completely forgot that since Let's Talk is a darker purple, it would blend right in. Oh well. Luxe and Lash gives you a good amount of coverage with one coat. I ADORE the flakies in it so much! Unfortunately the areas around my nails got a lot of the flakies but it was a pretty easy clean up.

I ended up doing one coat of everything (base coat/colors/top coat). The dry time was normal and everything applied fine the first go around. I am a little sad that it did chip really easily but to be fair I was doing a lot of dishes (I do them by hand). It chipped late on the 26th. I ended up covering it with Can't Let Go (OPI liquid sand) since it nearly matched the color of the base and it dried really quickly. It worked out in a pinch!!

Overall, I am giving this mani a 3 out of 6 stars. Again, a fun idea but fail execution.
