LOGAN (ZOYA)

Note: I applied this polish on December 16th and took the photos on the 19th. These photos were taken with my camera (usually I use my phone).

Logan is a polish that I got with one of the more recent Zoya promos (seriously Zoya, are you trying to make me super broke?!?!). I was pretty excited about it even though I had a green sort of similiar (may do a comparing post on those two soon). I read excellent reviews on it and I decided to try it out.

Logan is a hunter green with shimmer. It is really pretty in the bottle and it transfers well to the nail. The first coat was streaky. I had read one some polish blogs that it was a one coater for them so that surprised me. The second coat filled it in nicely. The dry time wasn't a problem at all.

However this polish chipped within the second day of wearing it. My tips looked worn out within the first day and I had one nail have nearly half of the polish come off. I thought maybe I had applied it too thin so I did another coat on top. Chipped the next day. I am hoping I just got a weird bottle of it. It is a lovely color especially for winter wear. I tried Zoya's remover for the first time before applying this one so I am not sure if it just reacting strangely to my nails. The photo above doesn't show all of the chips mainly because I hid them as to focus on the pretty color of the polish.

I am giving Logan a 2 out of 6 stars. The color is great but the chipping so early really floored me since it is a Zoya polish. I will try it again sometime in the future and hopefully it'll be a different experience.
