SAN FRANCISCO WITH SUGAR, SUGAR (SINFUL COLORS)

Note: I applied this polish on December 17th (I believe, forgot to write the date down..again) and the photos were taken later on the 17th.

I wanted to do something with green and red polishes but yet do something different. I randomly found a Ruffian mani tutorial on Youtube. It looked fairly simple. And it is. I just should have reversed the polishes since the shade of red I used ended up making my cuticles looking like they were bleeding (lol).

I did one coat of the red which was 'Sugar, Sugar'. It is easy application and gets even after one coat.

For the green which was 'San Francisco' ended up being thinner than the red. I ended up having to do two coats.

I used matte top coat on just the green to have some contrast with the shimmer and the matte. I really liked the effect and will try it again. However two hours later, the polish on my right hand looked like it got pulled down in spots or there were massive dents.

Then about another 2 hours went by and I got creases in the left hand. I did not put on thick coats so I am not sure what was going on with that. It's probably because it's Sinful Colors and the dry time tends to be ridiculous. Either way, not happy.

Overall I am giving this polish a 2 out of 6 stars. I didn't really like the combo (may have looked better reversed) and I was not happy with the messing up of the polish so long after application.
