SUN'S UP TOP DOWN (CHINA GLAZE)

Note: I applied this polish on March 25th and took the photos on the 26th.

I found this color at Ulta in the clearance bin on my birthday. I got it for $1.99 and I just couldn't pass it up. I don't own many paler yellows. After digging online I saw that this yellow had some favorable reviews so I figured that I hadn't picked up a dud.

This polish is tricky. It goes on a bit soupy so you do have to be careful when applying it. Since it is a bright polish, it is easily noticeable if you make application makes as the photos of the nails prove. It did not go on streaky which is what I was expecting. I did 2 coats and it looked fine...while wet. It dried very patchy which majorly disappointed me. The color itself is very nice. It is a sunshine yellow but the bonus is that it has a pink shimmer in it. Sadly the shimmer doesn't really show up as much as I would like even in the sun.

Dry time for a polish was a little iffy but it didn't take a very long time to dry.

Overall I am giving this mani a 2 out of 6 stars. The color is lovely. I may try it with a white base next time. But the drying so patchy really disappointed me.
